My name is Sophie Hulme. I am a 28 year old eventer who holds the PCCC level 2, I am a Trainee BD judge, and was on the Wesko Foundation 2023 programme. I have competed up to the new three star level. I am originally from California which is where I grew up and trained with James Alliston before heading over to the UK to Hartpury College to study. I have a MSci Equine Science degree from Hartpury University in England. I train with international event rider Nick Gauntlett, which is also where my horses and myself are based. In July 2017 Gorsehill Belle and I went to the North American Young Rider Championships. We placed 11th out of all the competitors. Since then we have competed in France and Poland and England and have been to some pretty amazing venues. We have some lovely horses and youngsters in the yard now and I look forward to seeing where we all go! I have a passion for learning and teaching and am enjoying helping clients both equine and human reach their goals!
